Families are so fun. There is a lot of energy with most families and there is a ton of life. I love capturing those moments. Family Moments and Family life. I sure can pose you, but there is nothing like capturing a “moment” as it happens.
Photography is more then posing and clicking, it’s observing, watching and capturing… life!

How true this is, for me and even in my personal life. Thousands of pictures of family and friends, so many fewer of me. The life of a photographer! Take my picture, take a shot of that.. but who takes an image of the photographer? Who cares?

I love rocks! One of my most favorite rocks is a Geode; do you know what it is?
On the outside it’s very plain not an outstanding rock, it’s “just a rock.”
That once you cut it open, the inside is breathtaking, beautiful, shiny, and brilliant and it glows.
So often I hear people say how they don’t like to be photographed or they don’t like the way they look in any picture.
Photography is more then just a snapshot. I believe it’s more then capturing your “shell”.
It’s about capturing YOU, the real you that glimmers and sparkles.
It’s my job as a professional not just to take a pretty picture, but to bring out what is on the inside and capture that as a lasting memory.
That is what a professional should do.
