The Conoway Family! Both their boys were extremely brilliant and both were complete opposites of each other. It was fun and sometimes humorous to see them interact together. Mom and Dad were fun people and I can only imagine the fun times they have had as a family. Loved shooting them and enjoying a beautiful fall day.

Monday, April 29th, 2013Here comes 2013 and Lisa Nikole Portrait Photography
Monday, January 7th, 2013I’ve been asking this question for a while…why blog. I was tired of hearing he same SEO answer, till I talked with a friend of mine Curt and he made mention of the fact that all the information I put on FB is considered their property. That if one day I wake up and FB is gone, so is all my content. ICK!
But to be honest, I wrote a blog post about blogging or not and did not get a single response. GOSH, should I even say that?
I’ve not been very faithful with my blog, I need to get back into the swing of things, and grown a better population of people then I have now.. or at least get you all to respond to me now and again. I know your reading me, I do have analytics, but I need you to reply… so how do I do that.
Uniquely I asked on FB. I asked what you like, and besides food, you love quotes. Imagine that. I love quotes, I think a lot of people do.
So I am going to start doing a quotable day of the week. I’ve not yet decided what day to make it, yet.
Besides that I will start to show you the images of our latest couples and share fun times we have at our home.
Like this:
We’ve got some fun family things planned for the holidays and of course our awesome family holiday card. I wanted to explain, too that there is a reason we do not say Christmas Card, because in our home we celebrate both Jewish and Christian Holidays, so we can’t just say Happy Chanukah or Merry Christmas, we say Happy Holidays to encompass them both.
I’m looking forward to the holidays, it’s a magical time no matter where you are in life and what road you are traveling, there is something special about this time of year, not because of what you can get.. but about what you can do.
More about that later…
For now, this is the beginning… and it’s not a New Years beginning either. It’s a beginning to better and bigger things ahead.
Meet the Byrd’s | Lisa Nikole | Family shoot
Saturday, October 2nd, 2010Debbie asked me to do a family shoot, I think mainly because of the newest addition, but also because WOW, what a cool family!
The coolest thing in shooting a family is that the parents want to present their children to me as calm, cool, collected ummm well… anything but children. I love it! Because my job, what I do is capture their children in their own personalities. I LOVE IT!!!
So, let me introduce to you Colton! Colton is full of life, his eyes are wide, alert and he does not miss a thing. I’d give anything or an inch of his energy. Colton is a leader!
Colton also got to break into my truck (climbed in the back window) and open it for me, since for the first time in my life I locked my keys in the truck, umm, he way enjoyed that!
I really enjoyed watching Colton and getting to know him!

The newest addition the beautiful Makeyla Rose! This shot was actually not taken at their home, but at our church, happens to be one of my favorite of her.

and the rest of the family! Matt and Debbie, what a joy it was to get to know your family better. Loved it! You’ve got a beautiful little girl and an amazing strong son.. you are blessed!
