WOW! It’s 2011 already and we are mid way into Jan. In a few short months we’ll all be thinking about Christmas again… time flies!!!
Every January we do a Bridal Show.. this year we chose the America’s Center Bridal Show in downtown Saint Louis. This show is sponsored by Saint Louis Bride and Groom Magazine. It’s one of the biggest and longest running bridal show in Saint Louis and we were thrilled as we were asked this year to become a part of the show.
It was a great show and we met so many wonderful people and wow there is an excitement in the 2011 and 2012 brides and grooms. We saw a lot more grooms out there this year and it was great to see. Lisa Nikole has always said it’s about both the bride and groom. So many times the groom is left to the side while all focus is on the bride, we feel it’s both of theirs day and we were glad to meet so many grooms!
This year we did something different, we wanted to stand out from the crowd. We got this cool idea to put a shiny penny on a specially made business card for all the brides we could hand them too. If you are not sure what the penny has to do with brides.. let me remind you..
Something old, Something New, Something borrowed, Something blue and a sixpence for your shoe! Since a sixpence is rare, the saying has been updated to say a shiny new penny. To read more on this please follow this LINK to learn more of the tradition!
We handed out over 900 cards and pennies.
The other fun thing we did was instead of handing out our price list, we brought our Ipad with us and set up an auto response email that sent our pricing list out directly to anyone that wanted.. all we needed was a first name and email and it was in their inbox before they walked away.
We also held a drawing for HALF off your wedding day photography. The winners were Tiffany Jones and Lauren Lickenbrock!
Thanks to everyone that helped make Lisa Nikoles debut at the Americas Center Bridal Show a success. Thanks for stopping by and more then that, thank you for trusting us with your special memories..
Here’s just a few pictures of our booth, ooo and a Rolls, I am so getting a ride in a Rolls one day. I’m not a big car buff but that car was SWEET!
