An evening with Sandy Puc and Jerry Ghionis | Lisa Nikole Photography

I really had not read a lot of blogs or posts on what to expect from last night event. I’ve watched Jerry Ghionis from the beginning, I’ve learned a lot from him, before I even at before him last night. Sandy Puc, for me, was a new name in the mix and I really had no idea what to expect.

Myself and Raquel got there around 4:30, greeted by desk to register and then off to the trade show. Not overwhelming but I believe pretty direct and very hands on. Off to the left we saw Jerry and in the booth next to him was the beautiful Mrs. Ghionis (Melissa). Melissa is so easy to talk to, we stopped by to say hello and I got to tell her that Jerry is the one that taught me that moment right before the kiss is more powerful then the kiss.. go ahead, try it. He’s right on and changed the way I shot kissing from that point on.

My two I got to have’s from the trade show (well, one was not part of the trade show) the one that was was the entire set of Jerry’s Pic Pockets. I need them all!
The other is a new product from Jerry and Wescott is an amazing video/photography light and you can find more of that here: The Ice Light. I’m not joking here, I’ve decided how much I will pay for this and now I’m waiting for it to come out, I need lighting, but this light is so worth waiting for… now we wait.

I’ve been a professional photographer for 10 years. I walked away thinking.. to me THAT is a good seminar. Here are few of my thoughts

I’m going to blog on a few of these things in the upcoming days.. I have a list in front of me now of some changes… not so much changed anyone would notice right now, but stand before me, you’re going to see a WOW photographer and one that is better educated then she was a few days ago. There’s going to be more communication from us to our clients and … well.. the rest.. it’s going to be good, but you’ll have to book us to get the rest…

I’d love to show you a few images from the show but, no pictures or recordings of any kind. I did take a few pics of my photog buddy Raquita as she got to pose and dance with Jerry, but anything else, was not recorded…

If you see the Power of Passion Tour come to your area. GO! It’s worth it, it’s a Lonnggg night, but it’s well worth it to meet these three amazing people!

Main Street Marketing | Your Web Presence | Lisa Nikole Saint Louis Photography

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Main Street Marketing Saint Louis Seminar!

It was a pleasure to do business with Bob Summers, Bob lives in Maui and talking to him was a joy and yes a little bit of jealousy also, as we worked out how we would cover this event and make it an interesting adventure for both of us.

I was introduced to Bob through another amazing and great SEO wizard Will Hanke. Will knows his stuff and his SEO direction and knowledge is not to be taken lightly.

Even though I shoot these events I am also thrilled to be able to listen and learn along with everyone else. I learn a lot about marketing and this time I learned a lot about making your Web Presence known. This includes images, something I know a lot about.

In the upcoming weeks I’ll be presenting a new program being offered by Lisa Nikole. We’ll be talking about Google Places, SEO and yes.. photography. I’m thrilled to learn the details to an amazing google page and how important it is for you and I to have one!

So here are a few more names I was blessed to hear and a comment about what I learned!

Adam Kreitman Adam talked about Ad Words and gave me a more direct idea of what I needed to do in order to use adwords and what I information I needed to fill out and why!

Dixie Gillaspie – I have to say I learned more about Facebook Badges, in fact I learned what they were from her.

Will Hanke – Keyword phrases, keyword measurement. Importance of your keywords and what google see’s and does not see!

Russ Henneberry – Keyword Long tails.. Russ made sense of keyword phrases. What people want is to Know, Like and trust us!

Steve Kelley – Steve opened a new world for me, mobile marketing, what it means, how to do it and how to utilize it in your business

Tom Ruwitch -Tom made me think.. about what I am doing and why. How to provide value. His session was very interactive.

Sue Spencer – I learned about what people see, what they want to see, and why they see it on our website.

Bob Summers – Bob talked a lot about our web presence and its importance. how to set up a google places.

If you missed this seminar make sure you don’t miss the next, things in the internet world are changing rapidly and we need experts like the above mentioned to help guide us through the internet waters.
