All around the world | Lisa Nikole Studios | Regis Philbin

Thursday, February 16th, 2012

I’ve been shooting for the Financial Coach Bryan Binkholder for a few years now. In fact, at places I cover for him I tell people I’m his photographer. He’s an awesome guy and runs a fantastic company and if you EVER need advice.. look him up!

He’s been sponsoring a series of events in Saint Louis and it’s all about books, awesome people that write them and some amazing book signings. I’ve been able to cover a few of these.

Jonathen Clements was an amazing speaker and I learned so much just by listening to him talk in just the hour or so he got to speak. I was interested so much so,I bought the book. His book “The Little Book of Main Street Money” Great read, and from me, you know that’s the truth.

Then a few weeks later I got to photograph Regis Philbin as he talked about his life and his new book “How Did I Get This Way”. Regis is a very motivational speaker. He’s funny and has a lot of wit. I’d have to say his MC for the night had as much going for him, the amazing Charlie Brennan of KMOX. They both fed each other lines and combacks and it was so entertaining. Regis signed a few books and posed for one picture, that picture was with Bryan Binkholder. What an honor it was to capture that moment in time.

I’ve been thinking about moments a lot, moments in time. I capture moments and freeze them for eternity. What an honor that is. It’s an amazing talent we have invested in, to capture and sometimes create amazing moments.

So much can happen in a moment, but I’ll leave that for the next post… next month I’ll be shooting the owner of a ton of Hardee’s Fast Food Places. Shooting will be held, inside one of the locations. How fun.

Till then I leave you with a few more images….

Savour each moment….

Lisa Nikole Photography | Enter the Canyon and the Financial Coach | Celebrity Days

Monday, September 26th, 2011

I’ve always thought that people that spell their names a bit different are special, Jon instead of John, Leesa instead of Lisa and Bryan instead of Brian.

Such as the Financial Coach Bryan Binkholder, he’s a special guy and he’s someone you are going to want to get to know on Facebook. Everyone has a story and so does Bryan as to why he got into the whole financial thing. He’s got a great way of explaining some complex things that help you to understand what is going on in the financial world around you. SO if you get a chance check our Bryan’s FB page, tell him I sent you!

Bryan contacted us to follow him on a Celebrity Waiter event at Canyon Cafe. The event was for raising funds for STL Crisis Nursery Center. Canyon Cafe and all the staff did an excellent job in working around all the extra people and even us photographers and even a few mascots here or there. It was a great night and from what I hear, they raised 10k more then expected! Great job!

Bryan already arraigned for us to do some promo pictures the next night, it’s always such a great time photography people for their upcoming promotions, no matter what it is, books, DVD’s, or updating websites. We love to capture those moments and then later see them on the products!

It was an honor to be surrounded but such amazing people giving of their time and their name to help raise money and to work next to a staff at Canyon Cafe that without them, the night would not have gone that smoothly.

Here’s a little slideshow about the event and some extra shots of Bryan at the end… ENJOY!

Lisa Nikole Photography | Under The Knife | LCMC Surgery Calling

Thursday, September 15th, 2011

Well, yeah, but it did catch your attention didn’t it!

Last month I got a call from The Lincoln County Medical Center and was asked about shooting a new surgeon and doing some promo shots. I was excited to say the least to shoot at a hospital and inside a surgical unit, so of course I said yes!

The one thing that surprised me the most is how small surgical units are. I’ve had two surgeries and in both of those I was so loopy I thought I was being taken into the the Taj Mahal of surgery units… not to freak anyone out, but they are not that big. But wow the cool stuff in them!

We set up some mock shots and the fun began. I even got to wear all the special clothing and I wish I would have gotten a shot of me in them.. next time, I promise.

Dr. Collins is a new Doctor in our area and he’s had a ton of schooling, I believe he said 13 years, that is amazing and as I got to know him and his wife, I can tell you they both are real down to earth class act people with great personalities. Fun to photograph as well!

We started in the surgical unit and flowed through the hospital and even took a few outside shots. I did my best to get some shots by the medevac but, that did not happen.. again, always next time!

It would be great to shoot a day in the life of a medevac team. WOW! (hint hint).

But I had to write a short blog post and let you know Dr. Collins is here.

I’ll post one of my favorite shots from the shoot..

Thanks again LCMC, it was a pleasure!
