The Conoway Family! Both their boys were extremely brilliant and both were complete opposites of each other. It was fun and sometimes humorous to see them interact together. Mom and Dad were fun people and I can only imagine the fun times they have had as a family. Loved shooting them and enjoying a beautiful fall day.
Amanda called us for images and was so excited about her shoot. She brought along her parents and grandparents who shared in the image making. Amanda has beautiful eyes that just seem to stand out and her easy laid back personality made photographing her easy.

There are just those times when photographing families you click, not just the shutter but you join in the family fun and this was the case with the Bensons. Mom and Dad were exceptional as their son seemed to take over the day and even designated some of the shots. We had a lot of fun talking and learning all about the Benson Family and sharing in the love they had for each other.
I saw it all the time, but what an honor to share and capture moments to remember for a lifetime.

I love rocks! One of my most favorite rocks is a Geode; do you know what it is?
On the outside it’s very plain not an outstanding rock, it’s “just a rock.”
That once you cut it open, the inside is breathtaking, beautiful, shiny, and brilliant and it glows.
So often I hear people say how they don’t like to be photographed or they don’t like the way they look in any picture.
Photography is more then just a snapshot. I believe it’s more then capturing your “shell”.
It’s about capturing YOU, the real you that glimmers and sparkles.
It’s my job as a professional not just to take a pretty picture, but to bring out what is on the inside and capture that as a lasting memory.
That is what a professional should do.
